1-on-1 Coaching

What's included in 1-on-1 coaching?

You're paired with a dedicated coach who builds a fully personalized training plan around your goals, schedule, and target race. It includes ongoing plan adjustments, direct messaging with your coach, and regular progress reviews.

How does billing work?

Coaching is a monthly subscription. You're billed automatically each month and keep full access to your coach and plan for as long as your subscription is active.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal in your account. If you cancel, you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I get my training plan?

Your personalized plan is delivered through TrainingPeaks. Once your coach sets it up, you'll receive a link to access your daily workouts, log sessions, and sync your devices.

What is TrainingPeaks?

TrainingPeaks is the platform we use to deliver and track your structured workouts. It works with most GPS watches and training apps so your coach can review your training and fine-tune your plan.

How do I communicate with my coach?

You can message your coach directly through your coaching dashboard for questions, feedback, and check-ins between sessions.

Is coaching right for beginners?

Absolutely. Whether you're training for your first event or chasing an Ironman PR, your coach tailors every workout to your current fitness and experience.

How soon do I start after signing up?

After you subscribe and complete a short intake about your goals, your coach builds your plan and gets you started — usually within a few days.

What fitness level do I need to start?

Absolutely none! This program is designed specifically for complete beginners. Whether you've never exercised or haven't been active in years, we start with gentle walking intervals and gradually build up. Dr. Elaina's PhD-designed progression ensures your body adapts safely at every stage.

What equipment do I need?

Just a pair of supportive running shoes and comfortable clothes. That's it! No gym membership, no fancy equipment. We recommend investing in proper running shoes fitted at a specialty store, but you can start with any comfortable athletic shoes you have.

How much time per week does the program require?

The program requires 3 training sessions per week, each lasting 20-35 minutes depending on your current week. That's less than 2 hours per week total. The sessions are designed to fit into busy schedules - many of our members train during lunch breaks or early mornings.

What if I miss a week or fall behind?

Life happens! The program is self-paced, so you can repeat any week as needed. If you miss a week, simply pick up where you left off or repeat the previous week to rebuild confidence. There's no pressure - you have lifetime access to go at your own pace.

Is there a refund policy?

We want you to feel confident in your investment. While digital products are generally non-refundable, if you're unsatisfied within the first 14 days and haven't accessed more than 2 weeks of content, reach out to our support team and we'll work with you to find a solution.

Do I get lifetime access?

Yes! Once you purchase, you have lifetime access to all program content. This means you can revisit workouts anytime, restart the program after a break, or use it as ongoing reference. You'll also receive any future updates to the program at no extra cost.

Can I do this program on a treadmill?

Absolutely! The program works perfectly on a treadmill, outdoor track, or neighborhood streets. Some members prefer treadmills for weather consistency and easy pace control. Dr. Elaina includes tips for both indoor and outdoor training throughout the program.
